  16. I've previously posted a problem with disconnects with my Sportster 
  17. (internal, 33600).  The disconnect problems only persist when connected 
  18. to the following modems:

  20. Hayes "Accura 28.8 V.FC + FAX"  (random disconnects)
  21.  
  22. Hayes "Optima 96 V32"  (unusable, continuous screens full of garbage)
  23.  
  24. Hayes "Optima 288 V.FC + FAX"  (need to try this one again, not sure)
  25.  
  26. Is there a "formula" for staying connected with these Hayes modems?
